The Flabby Middle. The Book.
I am writing a book about the six structural gaps that form in the middle of every growing organization. Before it goes to print, I want it pressure-tested by the people who live this every day. From both sides.
Why I Am Doing This Differently
Most business books are written in isolation. The author finishes the manuscript, sends it to an editor, and hopes it lands.
I do not want to hope. I want to know.
The Flabby Middle is built on a decade of work inside Nordic organizations. Volvo, Renault, Geely, and dozens of others. But my perspective is one perspective. I have sat on both sides of the table, as a middle manager and as the consultant called in to fix what was broken. I know what I see. I do not always know what I am missing.
That is where you come in.
I am looking for two groups of people to help shape this book before it goes to press. Executives who see the problem from above. And leaders in the middle who live it from the inside. Both perspectives matter. The book needs both to be honest.
What is in it for you
Early access to the framework
You will receive the core concepts, chapter themes, and diagnostic tools before anyone else sees them. Not the polished version. The working version. The one that still has rough edges. That is the point.
A voice in the book
Your perspective may shape a chapter, sharpen an argument, or challenge an assumption I have not questioned. Contributors will be acknowledged in the book. If your story makes it in (with your permission), you become part of the conversation.
The community
Access to group calls, live working sessions, and direct conversations with me and other contributors as the book develops. This is not a course. It is a working room where the ideas get tested.
First to know
When the book launches, you will be first in line. Early copies. Launch events. And the satisfaction of knowing you helped build something that did not exist before you got involved.
Two perspectives. One book.
If you are a CEO, VP, or senior leader
You have seen the pattern. Strong strategy. Capable people. Execution that stalls in the middle. You have tried to fix it. Some things worked. Most did not. You have opinions about why the middle struggles. Some of those opinions are right. Some might be the exact misdiagnosis this book is written to expose.
I want to interview you. I want to hear what you see, what you have tried, and what you think is actually broken. Your perspective shapes how the book speaks to the people who will buy it.
If you lead from the middle of an organization
You are the person this book is about. You carry the execution. You translate the strategy. You absorb the pressure from above and the confusion from below. And most of the time, nobody asks you what it actually looks like from where you sit.
I am asking. I want your stories, your frustrations, and your unfiltered experience of what is broken in the layer you operate in. Your perspective makes the book honest.
